About
Hello friend!
I’m glad you’re here, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and my work in the world. Every image and word on this website is an intentional attempt to translate my authentic being into a virtual format. It’s a powerful and vulnerable thing to express myself in this way, a one-directional offering. I choose to do so with the hope that it invites folks into relationship and connection. Here’s a little more about me.
A short story.
Professionally I hold the roles of coach, facilitator, consultant, and mindful embodiment practitioner. I work in conscious partnership with individuals and organizations to engage in radical exploration (“Radical simply means grasping things at the root.” - Angela Davis) and transformative action that moves our collective society towards greater equity, justice, and liberation. I engage in this work from a place of deep attunement to and care for the dynamics within and between people - the smallest building blocks of our organizations and systems. I design honest, imaginative, and embodied spaces for people to learn and attend to these dynamics. This work ripples out and creates conditions that are more ripe for larger-scale waves of change and transformation.
I came to these roles through a 15+ year history in social services, nonprofit organizations, and philanthropy. I have provided individual counseling to young people and their families and designed programming to support both the possibility and tumultuousness of adolescence and young adulthood. I have partnered with multi-billion dollar corporations and foundations to design and implement initiatives that redistribute their financial resources to grassroots organizations and movement builders. I have cultivated thoughtful, resilient team environments characterized by joy and well-being. I’ve approached each professional experience I’ve had with deep care and deep wonder for what people and organizations are capable of with the right resourcing and support.
I came to these roles through both my lineage and lifetime as a queer South Asian femme and child of immigrants. I was born from the roots of fierce caregiving, booming laughter, quiet rebellion, and skillful solidarity. My family and ancestors have taught me how to protect what is sacred, take up space joyously, and boldly navigate contexts that were not built with us in mind. I carry both the wisdom and flaws of my lineage, holding a commitment to always be my first site of practice. I am a student of Buddhism, Black queer feminism, and movements for justice and liberation led by those at the intersections and at the margins. My daily teachers include my beloved QTBIPOC community, redwood trees, hummingbirds, my tiny and willful pup CeCe, and my shy but ever-so-powerful partner Nolizwe.
