Meha (pronounced may-ha)
Pronouns: she/her/hers
Full disclosure: I am not a fan of writing bios! I am a process and a continually evolving body of knowledge/skills/energy, and this static format of writing about myself has always felt like a challenge. Until I find a more dynamic way of having an "About" page for this website, here are some things about me that can help you get to know a little bit about me:
"For us to transform as a society, we have to allow ourselves to be transformed as individuals."
-Rev. angel Kyodo williams
I am a human with a vision for collective healing, empowerment, and liberation. I manifest this as a coach, facilitator, consultant, and movement practitioner. After over a decade working with national nonprofit organizations, I made the shift in late 2019 to establish an independent practice that centers this vision and more fully aligns with my values. My practice and work is ever evolving, and I am fortunate to be in community with folks who share this vision and are bringing their unique gifts into the world in powerful and imaginative ways.
My work in nonprofit organizations initially focused on program development and management in the youth empowerment world, and over time expanded to encompass learning and organizational development more broadly. An overarching theme in my life has been about supporting people to be in deeply knowing and compassionate relationships with themselves and each other, and I currently do that through individual coaching, bringing people into their bodies through movement practice, and consulting and facilitation work with individuals, groups, and organizations. I am guided by a love of learning, strong attunement to intrapersonal and interpersonal dynamics, and a belief in our capacity as humans to tap into our greatest power and potential.

Coming from parents who are on opposing ends of the introvert/extrovert spectrum from one another, I find myself energized both by being in connection with others as well as in solitude. An only child, I spent a lot of time early in life engaged in deep thought, observing people and the world around me, and imagining and creating. These have evolved into some of my greatest strengths as an adult, and I'm a bit less awkward these days too -- whew!
I'd love to hear from you!
